but I wish everyone could stop using filedot.to. it's impossible to download at about 10-20kbps. No exaggeration. It's unusable. I've tried many different VPN server countries to improve speed, but it's not improving.

I feel that it depends on the file you are trying to download, I have some theories, one is that everything uploaded after a certain date have a throttled down download speed, the other is that after the recent amount of uploads, filedot tracked the source of the uploads and throttled down download speeds (less likely but not impossible), the other is based on location, another one is high traffic using all filedots bandwidth, and the last one pure luck on finding good download speed, I've managed to download some files at full download speed, and some others are hopeless, VPNs doesn't seem to bypass slow speeds, if you see the 4 digit captcha and the 6 seconds countdown you are lucky, if you have the 50 something seconds countdown is going to be slow.
