You seem to be uploading a lot of stuff, so don't take this as an ungrateful complaint, but ... 7z has the downside of storing the archive index at the end of the file. When it comes to large archives it means you can't extract a partially downloaded archive (either b/c the download failed or just to take an early look at the contents). This problem does not exist with rar archives for example. I believe most 7z clients are able to compress to rar and if there are any compression ratio benefits they probably are negligable.

Rar isn't an open standard. A lot of apps don't support it properly, or at all. 7z is the way to go imo.

7z is awful for general use. You can't open partially downloaded files. You can't sneak-peak the archive contents prior to download completion. Windows 11 has native rar decompression support through open source libarchive. Rar supports recovery records. Faster to compress. Better file name obfuscation. Winrar is essentially free anyway. There's a reason it's so commonly used.
